Follow the correct reference
An image can be referenced by a cid: URL matching Content-ID, or by a location matching Content-Location. Relative references are resolved against the archived document base. None of those addresses is a command to fetch the live website.
Duplicate identifiers are ambiguous. The converter reports ambiguity rather than choosing an arbitrary image. Nested HTML frames are preserved as raw data and are not silently merged into the main reading copy.
Separate display from preservation
Supported PNG and JPEG resources receive generated, safe filenames under assets/. Their native dimensions are inspected before PDF embedding. Oversized images and other media remain in the preserved MIME parts rather than being decoded without bounds.
The ZIP includes original encoded MIME leaves and their decoded bytes. A manifest maps each part index to its content type, Content-ID, Content-Location and export path. Filenames from the source are never used as ZIP paths.
Review every missing resource
Missing means no unambiguous included part matched a reference. Unsupported means bytes exist or the input form was recognized but this release does not display them. A stylesheet URL may be present yet intentionally unused because original CSS is not applied.
A saved page may also omit resources that are not explicitly referenced in its HTML. The coverage report therefore describes inspected references, not a guarantee that the original online page was complete.
